The Zee Jaipur Literature Festival 2018 is all set to take place at Diggi Place Hotel, Jaipur from 25 to 29 January, 2018.

The festival has previously hosted some of the most renowned personality as speakers ranging from Nobel Laureates J.M. Coetzee, Orhan Pamuk and Some Spyinka, Sahitya academy Winters Girish Kanad, Gulzar, literary writers Amish Tripathi, Vikram Seth.This year too, the festival is set to host speakers who have been achievers in their respective fields.
We bring you the list of Delhi based speakers who will be part of the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival this time.

1.Aanchal Malhotra
Aanchal has authored the book “Remnants of a separation.”The book through light on the history of partition through material memory and antiques.
She is a multidisciplinary artist and historian working with memory and material culture.She is the co founder of museum of material memory.

2.Abhimanyu Singh Arha
An alumni of the prestigious St.Stephens college and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Abhimanyu is an environmental historian.He has taught at the St.Stephens college and University of Rajasthan as well as Maharaja Ganga Singh University.His research papers have been published widely.

3.Aditi Maheshwari Goyal
Aditi is the Director at copyrights and Translation Department at Vani Prakashan.She holds a masters degree in English literature from Delhi University, Mphil in Urban Sociology from Oats Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and Master in Science( Business Management,Marketing and Related Support Services from University of Strathclyde,Glasgow.She has curated the “Hindi Mahotsav”, India’s first Hindi literature festival, organised in association with the Oxford Bookstore.

4.Akhil Katyal
Akgil Katyal is an author, poet and assistant professor at Shiv Nadar University teaching English and Creative Writing.He is best known for his book The Doubleness of Sexuality:Idioms of same sex desire in India.His Books of poems include Night Charge Extra and the forthcoming How Many Countries Does The Indus Across .

5.Aman Nath
Aman Nath is a writers, architectural restorer and hotelier.Born and brought up in Delhi, he is the co founder and co chairman of Neemrana Hotel chain.
He has been curator of Art Today-an Art gallery of India Today Group.He has co-authored books on art,architecture, history,photography.His works include Rajasthan:The Painted Walls Of Shekhawati, Larger than Life:The Popular Arts Of India, Dome over India, Jaipur:The Last Destination,Goa amongst others.

6.Amita Bahiskar
Amita Baviskar is a PhD in developmental Sociology from Cornell University.S he is a professor of Sociology at Institute of Economic Growth,Delhi.Her books include In the Belly of River-Tribal Conflicts over Development in the Narmada valley,
First Garden Of The Republic:Nature of the President ‘s Estateand
Elite and Everyman:The Cultural Political Of The Indian Middle Classes(along with Raka Ray).

7.Ashok Chopra
Ashok Chopra is a writer and publisher.He has authored The Famous and Scandalous, Of Love and Other Sorrows,A Scrapbook Of Memories-My Life With the Rich.He is the Chief Executive of Hay House Publishers India and has also served as Vice President of Mac Millan India, executive Director and editor of India Today Book Club and Books Today,abd Chief executive and puvlisher of Harper Collins.

8.Atma Mankotia
Atma Mankotia is an alumnae of At.Stephens College Delhi and XLRI Jamshedpur.She has worked as an editor in publishingprint and electronic media.
She is the author of staring at the square moon.

9.Brahma Chellaney
Brahma Chellaney is regarded as India’s leading strategic thinker.He is also an author and analyst of international gostrategic trends.H e is a professor of strategic studies at Center for Policy Research.H e is one of the first author of India’s nuclear doctorine and its first strategic defence review.

9.C. Raja Mohan
He is the consulting editor on foreign affairs for ‘The Indian Express’ and Director,Carnegie ,India.H e has been a professor of South Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore .He is on the editorial board of various journals of International Affairs and has authored Samundra Manthan:Sino-Indian Rivalry in the Asia Pacific.

10.Dipankar Gupta
Dipankar Gupta is an academician, writer and sociologist.He has been a professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University.He is also a columnist with newspapers like The Hindu, Indian Express, Times Of India.

11.Gurmehar kaur
Gurmehar Kaur is a student activist .She is also an ambassador at the charitable organization “Postcards for Peace.”
TIME Magazine has included her in the list of Next Generation Leaders ,hailing her as a “free speech warrior”.

12.Hema Maira
Hema Maira has been a teacher at the American Embassy School,New Delhi.She is also a wildife conservationist and organises trips to creates awareness on the same.

13.Jairam Ramesh
He is an economist and a Member of Parliament.He is in the Indian National Congress.He is also the founding Member of Indian Business School, Hyderabad

14.Kota Neelima
Kota Neelima is a columnist and author.She is an alumnae of Jawaharlal Nehru University.She writes columns for huffingpost India,News 18, Daily O on issues Such as politics, farmer suicides.The books she has authored include Shoes of the Dead,Riverstones, Tirupati:A Guide to Life amongst others.

15.Makarand Paranjape
Makarand Paranjape is a poet and a professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University.He has also been a columnist for The Pioneer, Sunday Observer, Mail Today and DNA.

16.Mihir Sharma
Mihir Sharma is a Harvard educated economist.He has been a columnist for Indian Express and Opinion Editor Business Standard.He has authored the book Restart: The Last Chance for The Indian Economy.

17.Namita Bhandare
Namita Bhandare is an independent journalist.She has written columns for Hindustan Times and has been Consultant Editor for Mint.She writes on Gender and Other Social Issues.

18.Nandita Das
The actress and filmmaker was brought up in Delhi.She is an alumnae of Sardar Patel Vidyalaya as well as Miranda House and Delhi School of Social Work both of which are affiliated to the Delhi University.She has acted in over 40 feature films and has directed the critically acclaimed film Firaaq.In 2011, She was the first Indian to be inducted into the Hall of Same of the International Women’s Forum ,Washington DC.

18.Nupur Paiva
Nupur Paiva is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist.She teacher at Ambedkar University.She is the author of Love and Rahe:The inner world of children.She has been working with families and children and has Co- founded Art Of Sport,a development programme for girls by making use of sports .

19.Pradip Krishan
Pradip Krishan is a filmaker and environmentalist.H e is an Alumnus of St..Stephens College and Balliol College, Oxford and has taught at Ramjas College, Delhi University..He has authored Trees of Delhi: A Field Guide and Jungle Trees ofCentral India.

20.Pragya Tiwari
Pragya Tiwari is a journalist.She is the editor -in -chief of VICE India.She writes on Politics, Public Policy and Culture.

21.Prashant Jha
Prashant Jha is the associate editor of Hindustan Times.He writes on foreign Policy and Indian Politics.He has authoredBattles of Republic: A Contemporary History of Nepal.

22.Preeti Gill
Preeti Gill is an author.She is the co editor of Shadows-writings on widowhood.

23.Prerna Bindra
Prerna Bindra is a traveler writer and a renowned environment journalist.She has worked with newspapers such as The Times Of India and The Pioneer.She is the author of the bookVanishing-India’s Wildlife Crisis.She was also been a member of India’s National Board of Wildlife and its come standing comittee from 2010-2013 and has also served in Uttarakhand’s State Board for Wildlife.

22.Rajdeep Sardesai
Rajdeep Sardesai is a well known journalist and writer with almost 30 years of experience in print and television journalism.He was the founder editor of IBN network 18 and is an anchor and consulting editor at India Today.He is the author of Democracy’s XI and 2014-The election that changed India.

23.Raghavendra Singh
Raghavendra is an Indian Administrative Service Officer.He is the author of India’s Lost Frontier-The Story of the North-west Frontier Province of Pakistan.He is the head of the National Archives of India in Delhi and the National Library in Kolkata.

24.Rakshanda Jalil
Dr.Rakshanda Jalil is a writer,literary historian and critic.She has published more than15 books.Her book Invisible Citybased on the lesser known monuments of the city has been highly acclaimed.She runs an organization Hindustani Awaaz to popularize the hindi-urdu literature.

25.Rennuka George
Renuka George is a documentary film maker and french-hindi translator.She lives between France and Delhi.She has translated many articles and books over the years in the area of literature and Social Sciences

26.Sagarika Ghose
Sagarika Ghose is a journalist and author.She is the consulting editor of the Times Of India.She was the deputy editor and anchor at CNN IBN earlier.She has authored the book Indira,India ‘s most powerful prime minister.

27.Sanjoy K.Roy
Sanjoy K.Roy is the Managing Director of Teamwork Arts,the company which organises the Zee Jaipur Literature Festival.It also produces more than 25 highly acclaimed visual arts,performing arts as well as literary festivals across countries.Sanjoy k.Roy has received the National Award for Excellence and Best Director, for the film Shahjahanabad The Twilight Years.He has been the Director or Producer of more than 50 theatre productions that have toured across many countries and won several awards.
He is also the founder trustee of Salaam Balak Trust in Delhi that provides services for street and working children .

28.Satish Gupta
Satish Gupta is a writer,poet,painter,sculptor,muralist and calligrapher.His work has a deep engagement with zen spirit and mysticism.His work has been exhibited in many art galleries across many countries such as Delhi, Mumbai, London, Vancouver, Paris,Ottawa amongst others.

29.Saurabh Dwivedi
Saurabh Dwivedi is the founding editor of The Lallantop.He has previously worked with Aaj Tak, Dainik Bhaskar, Star News, Navbharat Times.His web series Political Kisse is also very famous.

30.Shashi Tharoor
Shashi Tharoor is a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala and a former Diplomat.He has been a columnist for newspapers like The Times Of India, Deccan Chronicle and The Hindu.The books authored by him include The Elephant,The tiger and The Cellphone, Bookless in Bhaghdad,The Great Indian Novel,Riot-A Love Story, An Era Of Darkness amongst many others.

31.Sheela Reddy
Sheela Reddy is and an author and journalist.She has written for newspapers and journals.She has authored the book Mr. and Mrs.Jinnah:The Marriage That Shook India.

32.Sheila Dixit
Shiela Dixit is a politician and member of the Indian National Congress.She had been the Chief Minister of Delhi from 1998 to 2013,winning three consecutive elections.An alumna Miranda House,University of Delhi, she has won awards such as Best Chief Minister of India,by Journalist Association of India(2008) and Delhi Women of the Decade Achievers Award 2013 by All Ladies League for outstanding public service.

33.Shelja Sen
Shiela Sen is a child and adolescent psychologist,family therapist and author of the book All You Need is Love,the Art of Mindful Parenting and Imagine,No Child Left Invisible.She is also the founder of Children First,which is an institute for mental health and wellbeing.

34.Shireen Quadri
Shireen Quadri is the founder and publisher at The Punch Magazine.She is also a Marketing professional .

35.Snigdha Poonam
Snigdha Poonam is a Journalist with Hindustan Times.She has written for publications such as The New York Times,Granta Magazine and The Guardian.

36.Sreenivasan Jain
Sreenivasan Jain is a Journalist working with Ndtv.He anchors the show Truth vs Hype on Ndtv 24×7 and is also the Managing Editor of the channel.

37.Suhasini Haider
Suhasini Haider is a Journalist.S he is the Deputy Resident Editor and Diplomatic Affairs Editor at The Hindu.She has also worked with CNN IBN as an anchor and Foreign Affairs Editor.

38.Sujata Prasad
Sujata Prasad is a civil servant and an author.She is the co author of a volume on Health Security and a Novella -memoir for Children.She has authored the biography of Sonal Mansingh,’A Life Like No Other’.

39.Sunita Narain
Sunita Narain is an environmentalist.She is director general of Centre for Science and Environment and Editor of the magazine,Down to Earth.She was in Time Magazine’s list of100 most influential people in the year 2016.

40.Surendra Mohan Pathak
Surendra Mohan Pathak is an author .He writes Hindu language crime fiction.His work is categorised into 5 series,with this major work talking under sunil series,which has 121 novels.He has nearly 300 novels to his credit.

41.Surjit Bhalla
Surjit Bhalla is the author of Devaluing to Prosperity(2012) andImagine There’s No Country(2002).He is an economist and the contributing Editor to The Indian Express.He is the senior India analyst of The Observatory Group.He was also appointed as a member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Economic Advisory Council.

42.Swapan Dasgupta
Swapan Dasgupta is a Member of Parliamentand a Journalist.He has worked with many well known publications snd newspapers such as The Times of India, The Statesman,The Telegraph,The Pioneer,India Today,The New Indian,Dainik Jagran.H e received the Padma Bhushan award in 2015,for his contribution to Literature and Education.

43.Swati Chaturvedi

Upinder Singh is a professor of History at University of Delhi.Her recent book is Political Violence in Ancient India.She has won the Infosys prize in Social Sciences(History) category.

45.Vani Tripathi.
Can Tripathi is an actor and politician.She is the former National Secretary of Bhartiya Janta Party.She has acted in various Bollywood films and has worked as actor-teacher at National School of Drama’s theatre in Education company.

46.Vineet Kumar
